We understand that the value of one’s art collection far surpasses its monetary equivalent.
At Collector Systems our first step was to create a platform that could be trusted to guard information on our client’s most valuable possessions. This platform retains the most sophisticated procedures for privacy while providing instant accessibility to you from anywhere.

Only people explicitly invited by you. You control who can see your collection, what they can see, and which actions they can perform. Each user is given a unique log-in name and password. Tailor the level of access you wish to grant to each individual user and track all activities on your account through the Collector Systems journal log.
No one at Collector Systems has access to your password and no one can see your data without your permission. We may use aggregated user information to improve the product, but individual user information will always remain strictly private.
We will never provide any of your information to any person for any reason. Please read our Privacy Policy.
Our data center is physically and logically secure. Internal and external cameras, monitored by the Network Operations Center, protect the building twenty-four hours each day, every day of the year, and ensure that only people authorized by Collector Systems have physical access to our computers. Badge access is required to enter the building. Before entering the actual data center, one must first pass through a concrete hallway nicknamed the "man trap" area, and protected by another badge reader. Both physical and visual confirmation of identity is required: One must pass through a biometric hand-scanner, enter a personal security code, and pass by a security camera.
All of our servers are protected behind dedicated firewalls. Sophisticated controllers constantly monitor and analyze all network traffic, and we have multiple security policies in place to prevent a network interruption in the event of a malicious attack. All sensitive customer data, even when routed internally behind our firewall, is sent over encrypted protocols; all information sent over the Internet uses SSL encryption.
Extremely reliable. Electrical power to our data center is delivered via three separate power grids, and every electrical connection is backed up by multiple battery-powered systems. Should we experience an extended power outage, an on-site diesel generator contains enough fuel to keep our system operating at full capacity for thirty hours, during which it will be refuelled by a local supplier with whom we have a standing contract. Temperature and humidity are monitored constantly to ensure they remain at optimal levels for our servers and network equipment, which are connected to the Internet via multiple, physically diverse high-speed OC3 connections. Our internal network is a hundred percent hardware redundant, with dual load balanced network cards in every Collector Systems server. All servers are connected to dual fail-over switches at all multi-connection points within our network. Firewalls are implemented at both the core router and internal network level, to protect your sensitive information within our own network and on the Internet at large.
Yes. Collector Systems automatically backs up your data each day at our data center, both on- and off-site. We always maintain two copies of your data on our redundant servers to ensure that any hardware failure -- from a blown fuse to dropping your lap top in the pool -- will not affect your saved data. Nevertheless, we like to remind all visitors to our site that an extra layer of redundancy never hurts -- we encourage you to save often.
